A special thanks {5 August 2009 }
Now that X Games is all over and the excitement is beginning to die down, I just wanted to add a special thank you to my mechanic, Anthony Coxon, from Powerhouse Motorcycles.
I flew Anthony over to help me out for the event and he was a huge part of my success.
I started working with Anthony in 2004 when Cam Sinclair and I were teammates at Powerhouse Motorcycles, travelling to all of the Supercross and Freestyle events.
Since then he has helped me out every year, building my bikes and developing my suspension in Australia so it was awesome to have him there over the week for such a big event.
He worked so hard to get everything right and was there to change my motor from my practice to competition bike when it blew up on the first day of practice. Everything ran as smooth as it possibly could from thereon in.
Thanks Anthony, for being a part of this success, I look forward to working with you well into the future.
